We had visitors down so we had do the tadishonal trip up to The Baptist Mission. ( an mission started a long time ago and has a resturant, a gift shop, a mini zoo, and other stuff. And is up in the mountains so it is a lot cooler) anyways its an attraction for people unless you've been up there 100 times. I allmost didn't go but we decided we would go do something else too, so I went.
Its called Fort Jack (sorry I don't think thats the right french spelling of Jack but...)

It was built in 1805 by the Haitians right after they gained their independance.
We were instantly greeted by a bunch of young kids that knew some english (and not much history)
And proceaded to give us guided tours, all the while knowing what they realy wanted was a little tip for there "help"
they pretty much new just a few facts and repeated them over and over the whole time they were with us so it seemed like they were working hard for us.

Cool view of port au prince.

A few of us got up early to watch the sun rise one morning.

Ruth, little Ashline, a Janeen in the front, and the two students down on the
SMBI WATER program, Jolene and Janet . At the Baptist Mission.
Well thats all for now, keep looking ahead.
